Oregon Coast vs. South Coast Northern California?
I currently live in Florida today, but I will be moving (Most likely) in this region in August to be closer to home (WA), among many other reasons such as climate, landscape, architecture (my trade), the proximity of the Pacific Ocean outdoor activities, people are more casual, so I started looking for a big city, not too big nor too small, but I thought I should weigh the advantages of each State. For example, I know that Oregon no sales tax. Please give me your opinion if you are a resident of this area or know, however, concerns about property and tax revenues, and everything you can think of that might influence my move! Thank you! This will be a decision very, very important my life!
LOL, I'm a little surprised to be the second person to recommend Coos Bay area or! It is "the" urban area on the coast Southern Oregon …. combined total population of cities and the region is less than 50,000 …. has the feel of a very small town, however, of cultural theater, art and music festivals, and it is big enough space so you should have no problem in its profession. There is also large enough to buy decent, and is two hours from Eugene, if you need a solution "city". If you live in the country, some kilometers from the city of Coos Bay, the weather is better … like when the fog on the west side of town, if you live east of the city is likely sun just have to be ready for wind. Rarely stops. Another aspect to the Brookings research is what is fair north of the border of California, Oregon side. Because of its location, you get much sun on the west coast, between San Francisco and Canada. This is a very small town, about 4,000 or less, but has much to offer. Definitely not.
